Welcome to the Breakthroughs in NMR of Structural Biology – 2nd Bio-NMR Annual User Meeting, which will be held in Portorož, Slovenia from 8th to 11th May 2012. Bio-NMR is a project of the 7th Framework Program of EU aiming at the advancement of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance spectroscopy and its applications. The conference will consist of lectures dedicated to the highlights in the field of NMR or defining the state of the art in specific areas of Joint Research Activities. The programme will consist of four scientific sessions with the presentations of prominent speakers from all over the world, the general assembly, user meeting and local operator meeting, as well as a poster session and project's mid-term reviews.

As outreach activities are important part of goals of Bio-NMR project, we hope that fellow scientists working in the fields of Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy and their interfaces will participate at the event. We would particularly like to attract younger colleagues to join the event and support the "Young Bio-NMR Group".

The Symposium will take place in Hotel Bernardin in Portorož.
